Anatomy of a Fall tells a story of family tragedy and suspicion. Set in a remote mountain chalet in the French Alps, we meet Sandra, a German writer, who lives with her husband Samuel and their visually impaired son Daniel. When Samuel mysteriously falls to his death, suspicion surrounds Sandra as authorities investigate whether his death was by suicide or foul play. Ultimately, murder is the charge and Sandra is arrested. The ensuing trial puts her tumultuous relationship with Samuel, and her personality, under the microscope. Putting pressure on her relationship with her son, doubt starts creeping in between them when it is Daniel’s turn to take the stand.

French, English and German with English subtitles.
